SPE's PFAS in the Plastics Industry 2024 Call for Speakers

Regulations are transforming the plastics industry, and PFAS substances are at the center of the discussion. We Need Your Expertise! SPE's Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances (PFAS) in the Plastics Industry 2024, taking place Oct. 29-30 in Baltimore, MD, is focused on the potential liabilities associated with PFAS, and how to minimize risks and costs through the use of PFAS-free materials. Vitale Unveils New SPE Foundation Girl Scout Patch at NPE

Eve Vitale, Chief Executive of the SPE Foundation, delivered a presentation at the Women in Plastics Breakfast during NPE, unveiling the new Sustainable Packaging Girl Scout Patch. With 500+ attendees, the event generated immense enthusiasm for our patch, aimed at educating and inspiring young girls to join us in our sustainability efforts. The sold-out event united female plastics professionals, empowering them to unapologetically leverage their full talents to serve our industry.

The SPE Foundation Enjoyed a Week of Networking at NPE2024

Our booth was buzzing with industry professionals eager to engage with and learn more about our Positive Plastics Education programs. We shared fun PlastiVan activities, unveiled our newest Sustainable Packaging Girl Scout patch, met a few scholarship recipients, and were able to thank many of our supporters in person.
